MBT-70 (Kpz. 70)	Dragon Black Label, 1/35 scale

Here is my latest and probably last completion of 2016 - this is Dragon's 1/35 scale "Black Label" MBT-70.

I detailed the kit with the Voyager Model photo-etched and turned brass upgrade.
The crew figures are Valkyrie's lovely West German Army Tank Crew (Deutsches Heer, 1970-80 Era).

I started this model in 2015 and had construction complete by December of that year, but new releases kept pushing it back down the pile. I finally found some breathing space to finish it.

Construction was actually very straightforward. The DS flexible tracks are a bit long though, so one link was removed from each length to increase the tension.

I have written this one up for an article in Issue 131 of Model Military International magazine.
