This is my Trumpeter 1/35 scale IS-3M kit built with many modifications. Eduard photo-etched parts and a lot of scratch-build items were used to detail the tank.

In summary, this is a beautiful kit, with some little problems needed to solve.

For weathering I used the "sponge-techniqe" described by Nicola Cortese in "Modelling the IS Heavy Tank" by Osprey Publishing.
