Here's my latest completion - a test shot of Tamiya's forthcoming 1/48 scale M4A3E8 Easy Eight Sherman.
You are probably expecting me to say that fit was perfect and it was a fast build, and you'd be correct!
I added resin stowage from two Value Gear sets specifically designed for 1/48 scale Shermans. I also made a rolled tarp and Air Identification Banner from Tamiya two-part epoxy compound because I could not find my usual Kneadatite two-part epoxy putty. The Tamiya epoxy worked well, rolling out thinly and evenly.
The top colour is Mission Models' MMP-021 US Army Olive Drab Faded 2. I'm really liking this colour after using it a few times now.
This one appears in detail in Model Military International magazine, Issue 148.
