Eduard US 37mm gun tube for AFV Club M3A3 Stuart, in 1/35 scale turned aluminum (34048)

by Frank De Sisto

Hot on the heels of the recent US 37mm gun tailored for the Academy M3/M3A1 kits, Eduard has also come up with a gun tube for the recent AFV Club M3A3. This is rather puzzling, since the AFV Club kit already provides a composite plastic/ turned aluminum gun tube with the kit.

Regardless, this gun tube is well done and cleanly turned. It features the flare at the muzzle end and the grooves seen at the front end of its collar. It can be used on a variety of kits of vehicles that were fitted with this gun such as the M8 and Staghound armored cars, resin or scratch-built M22 airborne light tanks, LVT(A)1 amphibious tanks, any M3 medium tank variation and, of course, any M3 or M5 light tank variant.

Recommended.
