Eduard M10 Duckbill Interior photo-etched brass for the Academy kit in 1/35th-scale, 35661

by Frank De Sisto

Eduard M10 Duckbill Interior photo-etched brass for the Academy kit in 1/35th-scale, 35661. Price: $22.95 USD.

Contains two frets of etched brass, a film and a paper instrument panel insert and four pages of instructions.

Academy has now released nearly every gun-toting version on the M10-based chassis, including an Achilles, an M10 early, an M36, and the kit this set is designed to compliment, the so-called M10 “Duckbill”. Eduard has chosen to divide the sets for this kit into separate offerings for the interior and the exterior.

This set, like all the others for these kits, offers completely new, finely detailed tread plate for the vehicle’s floor as well as new driver’s foot pedals, seat details and bits and pieces for various storage boxes. There are also brackets, straps and mounts for the fire extinguisher, radio rack and ammo racks and instrument panel with choice of paper or film dials. There are also new sleeves and rotating plates for the hull hatch periscopes. The external radiator screens are also provided.

The turret gets new ready round racks as well as all sorts of small stowage boxes and brackets. There is also a fire extinguisher rack and a small rack to hold the gas decontamination device seen on US vehicles.
This is all rather complete and will dress this kit up quite nicely.

Recommended.
