This is the first 1/72 Scale Trumpeter Armour kit that I have reviewed and I am impressed. On opening the box you are presented with 71 light grey injection moulded parts and 8 nylon mould soft tyres.

The detail is nothing short of superb being crisply moulded and totally devoid of flash and moulding imperfections. A quick trial fit of the major components shows that the parts fit neatly and all joints are discretely hidden.

The suspension detail is made up from 16 discrete parts with the 8 wheel hubs being a press fit into the nylon tyres.

Six jerry cans are provided to add some exterior detail along with a small tool box and the prominent exhaust system.

The 25 mm chain gun is made to be moveable in the vertical plane and the turret can be rotated and these are the only moveable items. The kit can be enhanced by drilling a small hole in the end of the 5mm chain gun.

Markings are provided for a United States Marine Corp vehicle finished in Olive Drab, Dark Grey and Medium Grey Green.

Highly recommended for all levels of modeller skill.
