This set is one of a series of new
releases by Italeri in 1/72 scale which I think are aimed more at
the War-Gamers but could still be used in 1/72 dioramas. Some of the
others are a Country House and Battle Field Accessories. The set
comes in a cigar type box with hinged lid and assembled/painted
example on the top, other models from the series on the sides and an
exploded assembly diagram on the bottom.

The first sprue, in light grey
plastic, has two walls for the Bunker, its roof, which may be left
unglued, and four platforms for troops to stand on at the gun ports.
Other details could be added if required.
The next, in tan plastic, has 44 gallon drums, packing cases, wood
and steel field obstacles plus rectangular wood grained pieces that
could be used for table tops, doors or whatever.
The last sprue, also in tan, has multi piece telegraph poles, sign
boards, road signs and a host of sand bags. Unfortunately, the sand
bags are way over scale. Measuring about a metre by a half metre,
they would be a bit heavy to lift once full of sand.
The final item in the box is a vacuum formed base with a flat area
on which the bunker sits. All this will need is your imagination and
a nice action diorama could result.
Recommended.
Thanks to
Italeri for the review sample.
