This set of six road wheels and a spare, complete with eight hubs, is the latest 1:35 scale 3D-printed offering from our friends at ScaleX in Odesa.

The 3D-printed wheels feature the distinctive 12.00-20 tread pattern, along with the correct pressed numbering and other sidewall details. The impressive level of detail will come as no surprise to anyone familiar with ScaleX’s wheels and other products, but the importance of this set becomes immediately apparent when compared with the rather plain, smooth and undetailed wheels supplied in the Airfix kit.

The FV603 wheels are available in both weighted and standard configurations. To be honest, this reviewer would always opt for the weighted version, as the subtle flattening at the contact patch adds an extra sense of scale and realism to the finished model.

A simple and highly effective upgrade for anyone planning to tackle the Airfix Saracen.
