Hussar Productions has just released a new book on the history and application of vehicles of the Polish People's Army of the Cold War Era.

The book is presented on 136 pages between soft covers in landscape format. Dimensions are 29cm x 20.5 cm. The focus is tanks and personnel, although there is also plenty of coverage of armoured cars, trucks and recovery vehicles.

More than 236 black and white photos are well reproduced and logically organised to tell the story of the Polish People's Army from its inception.

The photos are large and packed with detail. Most are depicted with vehicles in action.

The vehicles are often accompanied by crews and support personnel.

A great bonus for modellers is the inclusion of decals in 1/35 scale for 21 different vehicles Cold War Polish Army service covering:

• BRDM-1,

• BRDM-2

• BTR-40

• T-34-85

• IS-2

The glossy decal sheet is perfectly printed with opaque whites. The printer's name is not included but I think they are likely to be Techmod.

This is an impressive title that will offer great inspiration to modellers and Cold War historians.
