Here is another of those kits that is unusual but interesting, and has previously only been availiable in resin. Now to my delight, Trumpeter's 1/35 scale Geschutzwagen lV b Fur 10.5cm Lefh 18/1 is here in plastic.

This also is quite a detaled looking little item, consisting of 590 plastic and etched parts, a detailed instruction booklet , glossy color chart,a set of decals and a small length of metal cable.

The main chasis is based on a Panzer IV though it has been shortened, wearing only six road wheels on each side. When you look at it, it is small, but l like it. The running gear is well detailed with some nice seperate tracks to finish it off.

There is a well detailed fighting compartment in this kit as the turret is opened topped, so you can see straight down inside, and the internals of the turret itself is also well detailed. The 10.5cm gun is nicely represented with the option of having the breech open or closed and the sight looks nice as well.

I think that once built and painted, this will make for a nice and interesting topic and something out of the norm to build as a break from Tigers and other more common Panzers.

Thanks to J.B. Wholesalers for the review sample.
