Royal Model No. 270, Wheels for German Sd.Kfz. 250, Flak 38 and Pak 35/36

by Frank De Sisto

Contains two resin parts. Price: unavailable. This is a rather simple addition to not only the kits mentioned in the product description, but also the following: Italeri/ESCI kits of the 7.5cm le.IG, 2cm Flak 30, 15cm NBW 42 and Sd.Kfz. 10 variants.

The two wheels are fully detailed and take advantage of the resin casting process to provide full tread detail on the tires. The manufacturer’s name (Continental) is crisply depicted on the sidewalls. The rear face will need a hole for the axle CAREFULLY drilled out to fit the particular kit the wheels will be mounted upon. There is not too much “meat” here, so proceed with caution, constantly checking as you go along.

This accessory will prove useful to those that want every last little detail to be represented, but due to its relatively high cost, may not prove to be very popular.

Recommended with reservations.

As well as manufacturing their own line of resin kits and conversion sets, Chesapeake Model Designs (CMD) is the US Importer and distributor of Royal Model products, and will ship worldwide.
