Eduard continues to release aluminum gun tubes for popular kits. Certainly, any kit of a Tiger I would qualify under that heading! This particular 8.8cm Kwk 36 L/56 gun tube is sized and notched to fit the Academy kit.

It is cleanly turned and includes integral, fully drilled-out muzzle break. It appears to be visually accurate and is a near drop fit onto plans published in the highly respected “Panzer Tracts” book on German heavy tanks. It is relatively low-cost and will save time for the veteran modeler, while easing the task for the novice.
