Panther 6 Chevron TracksWWII Productions, 1/48 scale

FirstLook Packaged in separate, handed, grip bags, there are 210 in total with 81 being required for each side, all cast with superb detail, and even feature hollow guide-horns on each link. Something I thought was particularly nice in this scale, considering the fact that a lot of manufacturers don’t bother with that in 35th. Clean up of the tracks is and
incredibly easy affair with the minimal amount of effort required.
Personally I found that two methods were equally as useful, the
first being a scalpel blade scraped along the recessed very
carefully, and the other being an old toothbrush rubbed with a bit
more vigour. Either way was surprisingly quick to do and it was not
long before both sides of link were completed, and ready to be
assembled. Once complete, the length of track is extremely flexible and as you can see in the accompanying photograph fits the drive sprocket perfectly.
Click the thumbnails below to view additional images: I was equally impressed with the natural sit of the tracks, and while I do not have the road wheels assembled on my kit as of yet, I am sure they will have a very convincing “sag” once in place, if the way they contour the drive sprocket is anything to go by. These tracks come highly recommended by me, as they are certain to vastly improve the appearance of the finished model, and are not a great deal of effort to use.
