New from CMK are two sets of additional armour representing vehicles
produced at Factory No.112, the Red Sormovo Works (in Gorki)
designed to be used as conversions for the Tamiya T-34 model 1941.
Superbly cast in cream coloured resin the level of detail is
excellent, with the set also including a turned aluminium barrel and
some decals, making it a complete package and great value for money.

The only drawback to both sets is
the fact that the turrets have the commanders hatches moulded shut,
which eliminates the possibility of the addition of a commander
figure, limiting the diorama options somewhat. However, should you
wish to only use the additional armour found on the hull, this is an
option, as there were vehicles used without the turret armour.
Considering that these are very simple to use conversion and require
the minimal amount of kit alteration possible, and have everything
needed in the set to complete the conversion, these are a pair of
great additions to the 48th scale scene.
