Description
Here is my brand new Tamiya 1/35 scale KV-1 Russian Heavy Tank Model 1941 Early Production.

I built the model straight from the box, including the kit decals and Commander figure in the hatch.

I found a couple of Alpine Soviet tanker figures that I had started painting years ago but never finished. I took the opportunity to paint these guys up too. One of them is standing on the track guard next to the turret.

Tamiya's new 1/35 KV-1B was a pleasure to build and fun to paint and weather.

I'm writing this one up for a big article in Issue 171 of Model Military International magazine. Yes, we're still publishing in COVID-19!
