JSU-122 (Dragon, 1/35)
Hirokazu Suzuki

I was inspired by Osprey Modelling's "Modelling the IS Heavy Tank" (written by Mr.Nic Cortese). I was especially interested in the "sponge technique" of Mr.Cortese. Although I found this challenging, I was satisfied with the results because I enjoyed the painting process. I did not use etched and aftermarket parts for construction; instead I used styrene sheets and rod, brass rod, a few metal sheets, Tamiya putty, epoxy putty, and Mr Surfacer 500. For painting I used acrylic paints and a small amount of oil paint. I wish to express my gratitude to Mr.Cortese for his inspiration!
