12.8cm Selbstfahrlette L/61	Trumpeter, 1/35 scale

Description

Here is Trumpeter’s recently released 1/35 scale German 12.8cm Selbstfahrlette L/61 or Versuchsjager 3001.

The interior and exterior are moderately detailed with bits and pieces from the spares box. The vinyl tracks are held down by pins fixed in the hull.

The railway track is scratchbuilt from plaster, paper and plasticard. Foliage used on tree and the ground are from 4D Model shop. Flowers are built from the contents of 4Ds Model Garden kit.

The tank is finished in Tamiya acrylics with an Evolution Airbrush. Weathering including drybrushing with oils and pastels.

The figures are Tristar’s German Self-Propelled Gun Crew Vol 2 set and Dragon’s Panzergrenadiar LAH Division, Kurskä. Equipment from various sets including Italeri’s Field tool shop, Academy’s Tank accessories I & II. Figures painted with Vallejo acrylics and oils. My full name is , Sweden.
