Description

Here is my Tamiya 1:35 scale Tamiya Panzerkampfwagen I Ausf. B (Sd.Kfz.101).

The model has been built entirely from the box, including the Commander figure and the decals.

As you might expect, fit was pretty much perfect and assembly was a joy.

The base colour is SMS Paint's PL38 German Grey lacquer, which turned out to be an almost perfect match for Tamiy's plaatic!

The kit decals needed a bit or persuasion to settle down snugly over the raised turret surface detail but a couple of brushed coats of Tamiya Mark Fit decal setting solution eventually did the trick.

The model is also a nice early-war companion for Tamiya's recently released KS600 motorcycle.
