Marder III Ausf.M	Tamiya, 1/35 scale

Description

Here is my latest model, Tamiya's 1/35 scale Marder III Ausf M.

I added the Aber 7.5 cm gun, Model Kasten tracks, Tamiya brass shells and the Eduard Brass set for the Marder. I didn't have the brass fenders at the time so I made my own from super thin sheet metal.

I used Tamiya armor yellow paint with my own mixture for dark green. Chipping was done with a mixture dark gray and dark brown. Washes of burnt Umber oils were also applied.

I also made new tool handles from toothpicks. Real wood always looks better that plastic painted to look like wood in my opinion.
