M3(r) with PaK 35/36
Jochem Kleerebezem

This vehicle represents a makeshift self-propelled anti tank gun made from a captured Russian Lend-Lease M3 light tank. The Germans modified it to carry the standard early war 37mm PaK with only modest additional protection for the crew operating it. By the looks of the dried mud all over the lower chassis it has seen its share of the Russian countryside already. The crew added some foliage for concealment but no doubt their high silhouette will draw attention. Both kits are by Tamiya (1/35) and were detailed using styrene, aluminium foil and cardboard. The sandbags are made with putty. Painting was mainly done by brush with acrylics and gouche.
