Description

Here is my Italeri 1/35 scale Semovente M43 Bassotto.

This is a new kit that includes link-and-length tracks plus interior detail for the fighting and driver's compartments.

My original plan was to simply paint the interior white and plug the hatches with crew figures, but once the interior was installed I could not resist spending a bit of time painting and weathering.

You can see quite a bit of the interior detail through the three open roof hatches.

The model was built almost straight from the box. The only after market parts were two 4mm "little-lenses" to replace the solid blackout lights.

The model went together smoothly.

The four kit camouflage choices are all intricate three-colour schemes. I chickened out and painted mine Dark Yellow!

I certainly recommend this one.
